Dragooness – Chapter 11

(AN: Hello hello! Late today mostly because of me to be honest. But i still put the blame on the PR.)
(AN2: On another note, in today’s chapter, we have Rene geek out for a bit. Because we all needed a dragon girl geeking out. >.> Anyway, i had said today should be a monsterventurer chapter, but I didn’t feel like writing it at all, so changed to this.)
(AN3: Nooot entirely sure what will come next, so no promises as of yet.)

“…What the…” I heard a familiar voice echoing from behind me. Then, after a moment of silence, it spoke once again. “The hell is that? Is that a beastman?”

 

I took a deep breath to calm myself down so as to prepare for what might be coming. I pleaded quietly to the dragoness hoping that she wouldn’t overreact to what was about to happen.

 

Still, I decided to try and avoid the issue entirely, so I just started walking away as fast as I could without looking too suspicious. Sadly, it seems that he did not share my ideas, as I heard him call out to me again.

Dragooness – Chapter 01

(AE: If you want to blame anyone for the new story, blame the editor. he was the one who made me come up with this one.)

(AE2: I also blame mid-term tests for the lack of update last week, as well as games and the fact that Kitsune idol was surprisingly difficult to write.)

(AN: *Uses a radio from inside his anti-riot bunker* Soo… new story. Yeah… Hooray? Won’t have any guarantees that this story will continue, but for now I’m already working on a second chapter…)

(AN2: As of right now, there isn’t much idea as to where this story will head towards after the next one or two chapters, so please don’t put your expectations up. Heck, the idea behind this story was pretty much the idea of a blessing gone wrong and me wanting to write something about a dragon girl! (Not to discredit Shelly, but she’s a leviathan. That’s different.) On the other hand, this does mean i’m pretty open for plot suggestions at this point… So yeah… Enjoy?)

(AN3: For those wondering, after I finish the second chapter i’ll probably go work on IO, then MMG)

Summary: Rene is a trainee for a dragoon in a world where magic and steam reigns together, however, for some unknown author-related reason, he was born completely devoid of magic. Barely managing to qualify for an attempt at being presented before the elder dragons so that one of them may present him their blessing, he is instead met with silence. As his hopes start to wane, a dragon makes him an offer that would change his life forever.

Genres: Gender bender (as of chapter 2), Steampunk, Fantasy, action/adventure (?), probably comedy eventually. Maybe slice of life?

Watching as the next trainee was called for his ceremony, I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down. I couldn’t help but be a bit hopeful that I’d get a good blessing when it came to meeting with them, however another part of me kept telling me to not get too excited.

 

Trying to keep myself positive while not getting my hopes too high, I once again gripped the handle of my sword while carefully polishing its blade. Keeping my mind away from the issue, I just let the time pass while I sat on the stone bench, waiting together with the ten other trainees for my turn to go in.
