(AN: Hello there! After a couple of weeks without any update or anything, here i am bringing out a Re Turn chapter! What? I said i was writing slash felt like writing another story? I have no idea what you are talking about!)
(AN2: As an excuse, i was dragged on a family trip for the previous week and would leave the hotel every day to walk around somewhere. My legs would get home killing me and any mood i might have had for writing, so yeah…)
(AN3: Lastly, working on MMG right now. Chapter should be up next weekend. No promises since i return to classes tuesday though.)
(AN4: i’ll be farming Kulve Taroth today in MH. If anyone have it for Xbox and feels like joining me, just drop a comment. I might make a discord chat or something like that.)
“Test, test…” I said out loud while testing the spell. Good, sounds exactly like her. Feeling satisfied with the result, I slowly squirmed myself out of Mya’s grasp and leapt up to the ground, transforming myself mid-jump so I could be back to my humanoid form.
I turned back to my sleeping owner, who was now starting to seek me in her sleep.
I… Sincerely love her. I’m not sure whether this is loving her as a girl, as a person or as an owner, but I do know that I love her, and a whole lot at that. I’d gut myself dead at the drop of a hat if this meant saving her.
Hex was currently pacing around a rather bright and extremely clean room. The room had been prepared for her by the cult, which had been… shall we say, ‘extremely persistent’ in insisting she come with them. That was one week ago, and the last week had been one of the easiest in Hex’s life. Food and drink was delivered to him on demand, no matter what he demanded, her clothes were washed almost instantaneously, and not a single one of the cult members dared to do anything that might upset him.
The downside, however, was that there was almost nothing to do. Hex was bored out of his mind, and so spent most of the week practicing his magic in small ways. In the process, he managed to call electricity more than once, and was convinced that he could use it within a reasonable amount of time to knock someone out.
Of course, since the flash-forward stopped on this specific day, that means something important had to happen here. And that’s why, in the middle of his practicing, an alarm went off. The cult member watching over her at the time, her so-called high priest, immediately jumped up.
(AN: Quick warning, some ecchi in this chapter. Not sure if it counts for NSFW, but you have been warned.)
As my rage subsided, I finally took a deep breath and calmed down, throwing myself on the couch and letting the pillows absorb me into its midst. Wielding an equal amount of anger towards myself and the gods, I started to finally get the size of the problem I had gotten myself into. After some time of thinking, I finally turned towards the magician and said.
“By any chance, you wouldn’t be able to undo a god’s curse, would you?” I asked while making a shot in the dark.
“…I see…” Merlin said with a nod and making a pensive pose. “Indeed, it would be possible for me to undo the curse.”
Not in an unexpected manner, we were the center of attention. Well, not that I could blame the onlookers, after all, there were two stunning girls sitting side-by-side on a bench within a highly populated mall.
Under normal circumstances, I’d just have basked in the glory of being the center of attentions without needing to do anything, but not today.
I once fought a legion thousands strong, I also ran for twenty days straight non-stop while being chased by a dragon. I once made a bet with Sophie and spent a full month without sleeping on my bed. Yet none of those times did I ever get as tired as I am right now.
“I… Can feel my soul… Leaving me…” I said tiredly while leaning to the side.
“Hmm, I should probably go check on them.” I said while we waited for Mya to bring back the bill.
“Hmm?” Clarie looked at me confused for a moment while she held the spoon full of ice-creamy goodness to her mouth. “…Oh, you mean guys you dealt with earlier?” She said after swallowing the ice cream and recalling our earlier talk.
“Yeah. I guess they should have learned their lesson by now.” I said pensively.
(AN: Okay, brief disclaimer, but even I think that Inari went a bit overboard in this chapter when I re-read it just now. That said, I feel it’s kind of fitting to show how broken and powerful Inari is, as well as how her sense of what’s right and wrong, and what can be called going overboard can be a bit distorted thanks to her years in the other world. That said, next chapter is back to more funny shenanigans.)
Well, I don’t know how to say this but… It seems that I started creating my own little country inside the arcade, and I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t because of the charm because I kept it under tight leashes.
While sitting on the dislodge car game seat that had been put on the main floor, I extended my hand outwards and soon the prime ministe- ermm, no. The manager, Donovan, gave me the small bottle of water, which I gladly took upon and drank in small dosages, moistening my dry throat.
“Muu… I see. I can kind of understand now.” Clarie said annoyed. “Still, you could have tolds us about you earlier, you know? I mean, i don’t know if i would have helped you, but…”
“Sorry…” I said a bit depressed.
“Also, did you really have to release your full pressure when we met? That was kinda mean. You have any idea how scary you are when you are using it?” She asked me while tightening her grip around my neck annoyed for a moment.
“Who are you and what do you want with us?” I heard my father’s voice as he skidded to a halt before my mother.
Father was a quite unique figure. He was scrawny, like, really thin to the point that he looks a bit sick, the fact that he already is pretty pale doesn’t exactly help him either, as the long black hair made quite the contrast.
Feeling a tinge of nostalgia as I saw him wearing his usual social clothes that he wore when working, I couldn’t help but feel that, as usual, seeing the scrawny looking father of mine holding such a large and dangerous looking knife didn’t exactly match what people would think of him.
Hmm, actually, I don’t think I know that one. Is it new to the collection?
I felt an odd sensation as the space distorted around me, but i still didn’t stop my unending assault against the very fabric of reality before me. Grabbing and twisting it until it would bend to my will, i quickly opened a rip that was just big enough for my small body to pass by. Quickly changing back to my feral form, i jumped through the space before it twisted itself back into shape, hiding the tear that threatened to destroy the very existence of this world.
Well, that is what would happen if i made a mistake, but after a few times doing that, you kind of get the hang of bending the space-time continuum.
